I Am Ozzy (book review)

For the past year I been on a biography and autobiography kick.  People lead such interesting lives. I just can't get enough of them.

Last week while at Barnes and Noble picking up summer reading for my Matthew, I was browsing and what caught my eye on the bargain table...I Am Ozzy.

While I like some Ozzy material and some Black Sabbath (which Ozzy was the former lead singer for) I would not say that I am a die hard fan. But I know an entertaining and interesting person when I see one.

The book was 5.98 how could I pass up that bargain?  It usually takes me awhile to read a book, sometimes weeks, sometimes month, only because I'm just so darn busy.  When I get a book that completely holds my interest I can't put it down, you will catch me walking around town with my nose in that book until I'm finished.  That's how it was with I Am Ozzy.  I read it in two days.

I was not disappointed. I knew it would be interesting with some crazy stories but I never dreamed I'd be sitting all by myself laughing outloud.

From his boyhood days, trying to find a way to fit in with his peers to trying to hold a job to the success and failure with Black Sabbath and the surprising success of MTV's reality show The Osbournes, this book will keep you entertained whether you are a fan or not.

It's worth reading just to learn the truth about the infamous biting the head off a bat incident.

I'd like to say more but I don't want to give away the stories.  Please let me know if you read this book and what you thought of it.
