You do not have to have a marathon catching up on the previous "Bourne" movies to enjoy this latest installment but I have to say it was odd watching it without Matt Damon who brought the role of Jason Bourne to life, though there are enough mentions of Jason Bourne throughout the Legacy version to help you remember where it all started.
Jeremey Renner did an ok job as the latest agent trying to save himself from his own government but my personal favorite was Rachel Weisz who played the scientist, she gave a stellar performance.
I think the Bourne Legacy lacked a little in the story and action area that being said, the best part of the movie was the motorcycle chase at the end.
If I had to choose beetween this movie and the latest Mission Impossible, well hands down Misssion Impossible has it. Not that it terribly bad, I've seen much worse but I just felt that it needed a little more spice.
That's just my opinion.
